A Purchase of this book brought me to an author event at our local library, I enjoyed the authors talk about his

journey into his family name and the bringing to print this wonderful book including a lovely insight into the

historical connection the 'de lacy's' have with Pontefract Castle. A wonderfully presented book in plain English,

written paragraphs sectioned for easy to read narrative in clear precise print. Beautifully narrated by the

author.   The author's in depth research into the 'de lacy' name is very detailed but does not overwhelm the

reader with unnecessary facts.  He has captured the interest of the 'de lacy descendants' as far away as America

and Australia. Some having made their journey to the UK to see where their ancestors lived and died.  Certainly

a 'must read'  for anyone with the Lacy surname to explore their possible links to the  Kings, Earls and Barons of

Medieval history in England particularly the very strong link to Pontefract Castle in West Yorkshire.

I must congratulate you on compiling such a fascinating book. Well done.

I am currently enjoying the 'de Lacy Chronicles' and will be buying more copies for my family. It is a fascinating

book and I was intrigued by the family going back to Norway.
